Green Spot Irish Whiskey

Green Spot Irish Whiskey - The Whisky Isle

Green Spot Irish Whiskey

Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey, produced specifically for Mitchell & Son of Dublin, by Midleton Distillery in Cork. It is one of the only remaining bonded Irish whiskeys, and is currently the only brand specifically produced for and sold by an independent wine merchant in Ireland. This rare treat is only available in a handful of stores and The Whisky Isle is proud to be able to offer this spectacular dram to our customers. Notes of vanilla, malted cereal, tropical fruit and lime zest on the nose are followed by sweet oak, peppermint and spice on the palate. Green Spot is bloody good whiskey!

Whisky Worth Trying

Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry - The Whisky Isle

Marzipan, caramelized orange, candied figs and plum and followed by the sweet toffee richness only found in older Macallan. This whisky is as close to perfection as you will find in an 18 year old dram.

Glenrothes 2001 Vintage - The Whisky Isle

The first vintage distilled in this millennium - a spectacular whisky with notes of dried fruit, spiced cloves and cinnamon with a rich toffee and vanilla bean aroma.

Ardbeg Uigeadail - The Whisky Isle

Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced 'Oog-a-dal') is a special vatting that marries Ardbeg's traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks.
